The competition aims to facilitate the intellectual growth of school students, as well as provide assistance in their career paths and further education
About the competition The competition calls for interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of chemistry and chemical technology with other sciences: biology; biotechnology; computer science and robotics; and industrial design. The competition is held by ITMO University's Joint Scientific Center of AI-Inspired Smart and Functional Materials and Info-chemistry Scientific Center and Regional Center "Academy of Talents". 1st place - 150,000 rubles
2nd place - 100,000 rubles
3rd place - 50,000 rubles
3rd place - 50,000 rubles

Winners will advance to the finals of ITMO.STARS
Requirements for contestants
School students of grades 10-11 from Russia and the CIS, as well as 16-to-19-year-old school students from around the world, are welcome to participate

Projects
For the qualifying round the participants are free to submit completed projects as well as those still in development
Project ready?
Great! Prepare the necessary materials and submit your application. If you find yourself among the finalists, start getting ready for a public defense of your project.
Not yet?
The project is not ready, but you have an idea, a theory, and an action plan? Then submit your application anyway. You will be able to complete your project at the Infochemistry Scientific Center. The project must be finished before March 23, 2022.

FAQ
The Organizing Committee, which includes representatives of ITMO University's Joint Scientific Center of AI-Inspired Smart and Functional Materials, Infochemistry Scientific Center, as well as visiting professors from the world's leading universities.
During the online qualifying round, you can submit a finished project or a well-thought-out idea and a plan for its implementation. The project's results will be presented during the final round.
Each team member submits an application independently, describing their role in the implementation of the project.
